Who knew one of the hardest parts of starting a blog would be writing the “About Me” section? Where does one begin?!

It’s not that I think I’m complex, or even too simple…or that I don’t know who I am. It’s deciding which parts of my story shape the perspective behind this blog. Is it the résumé side of me—Olympian, professional athlete, educated in marketing, leadership, and sports management? Or do I lean into the words that describe me- joy-filled, gentle, hard-working, detail-oriented, daughter, sister, friend, child of God? Maybe it’s also the everyday things I enjoy most: working through a puzzle, shooting hoops, bike rides, reading my Bible, spending time with friends, and finding new coffee shops and restaurants to love.

Truly, it’s all of these titles, qualities, and hobbies, shaped through experiences, people, and lessons, that form the about me and the foundation of this space I’m creating here for you and for me.

With the desire to be raw and authentic, and to color outside the lines, welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy it here. :)
